Mac's Sea Dragon Pack

I really don't know if I believe you since I haven't seen any announcement that they have canceled that update. If you have that announcement, could you please pass it on?

I don't remember about official announcement on my side, but if it has to be released it won't be fast. Honestly I wouldn't hope too much for it on the short term.

I agree, even so, I think the best thing is to be patient. Apart from that, I highly doubt that it is so difficult to program the water for the level of programming that Steff has presented to us since a simpler game like simplerockets, even so, I think that if it is something with very complex physics, it would be relevant. wait

It's far from being obvious, he has to introduce fluid physics in his game, with buoyancy and so on. Stef being skilled doesn't mean he can do this in just a few days, this is still a hard work.

That's what I'm saying. You really have to give it the necessary time. I only made the comparison with simplerockets since it is a simpler game than SFS.

Who knows what if in the near future the SFS water system will be more complex than the Simplerockets one?

it will just be a matter of waiting

There is no finalized Sea dragon RCS pod arrangements, how ever I still plan to add it by next update, along side a tanker module

Yes you are correct the Sea Dragon did plan to have second stage reuse, however the concept didn't make it far enough to give us an idea of how it would be achieved
You could put the RCS pods just attached to the second stage in a way like the Apollo service module. However, from the extensive size, classic or common RCS wouldnt do much, im looking forward to that update! in the second stage, now i love truax's rockets, and i made a concept of a reusable second stage, it would have clam style fairings (i dont know how to explain it), and where the auxiliary engines either have retractability or just tucked in where a door can close shut it for reentry, while the main engine would retract back, and that a 4-way clamstyle heat shield would extend. Close shut, basically the main heat shield, i don't know how to explain it well, but it's like since the second stage engine is mostly hidden inside, as well as the heat shield. i couldnt do such thing to the aux and 2nd stage engines that instead i bp edited them to be invincible from reentry, i didn't add any rcs pod too, but i did manage to make a reusable fairing, im still working on it though since its a bit faulty (no i didnt make a new extension mod, i just did it on build). are you planning to make a fully reusable sea dragon if you mind if i ask?

I am not particularly sure as to how to approach second stage recovery, as the Sea Dragon concept studies never made it far enough to cover that aspect, even if planned to

this is just the mod of all time (ignore the burn damage, i tried making a sea dragon heavy)
Ah, finaly! A rocket where the F-1V could be used!
Also if you liked this mod I recomend you "new horizons" from the same creator. Mac really cooked doing research to do that mod.

Tip: if you get burn damage during lift off, I recomend to lower the thrust during flight or to turn on the burn decal cheat.
