And the API for python lets me use the setBlock command, which allows me to have normally unaccesible blocks in my world, such as glowing obsidian, lava and water (they can't be placed using my inventory).

I play both Java and bedrock, and you can use commands in both. You may need to enable cheats in the world settings. With that you can use both command blocks (from /give command) and in-game chat

I've never tried Ed edition standalone, though I've tried it in bedrock, the tools it adds are quite cool limo
