are mods even possible to install, ive tried everything it says and after a week of trouble shooting it hasent done anything, it still doesent show in mods area ingame

Sorry for being so dumb, i found out i wasent downloading the latest version of it, its working now, also managed to get gliding heat sheilds working

I'm ok to help him, but he should tell us what doesn't work: does the mod show up in the mod loader menu? Is there an error message? ... I can't analyze anything based on "it doesn't work". Especially if the mod works for everyone else.
I asked him to double-check that he installed it correctly because this is the main reason why a mod "doesn't work" in practice.
