We might have to rehaul the guidelines to stay fair. :)

It does remind me of 1.4 and earlier separators...

Curious what the arrows in the atlas module are for
Perhaps the good ol separator indicator that existed prior to the 1.5s

I'm going to sound like an old man, but I don't think these new engines will be doing anything much better than the current ones. :p Maybe the double will be useful for more thrust in a given space?

No way those TWR numbers are final, for comparison the Hawk TWR is just over 34. Since almost all the TWR numbers are the same as the thrust numbers, seems like just placeholders.

That's what I was thinking too. Many of them have their TWR equal to their thrust, which would mean they all weigh 1 ton.

The Single 2 and Double 2 would be very good ground engines to be honest. 255s of Isp is quite good on that regard, and 160 tons of thrust puts the Single 2 clearly above of the Hawk. The Double 2 is apparently the same engine with 2 combustion chambers, it's surprising that its thrust is only 290 tons. Their characteristics are probably not final though.

The Vacuum 3... More thrust that the Frontier, but less Isp aswell. Perhaps it's thought of as a second stage engine. The Titan 3 has 25% more thrust than the Titan and less Isp. Depending on its size, it could be better than the regular Titan for the same job. Those 2 seem more balanced compared to what already exists.

I really look forward to this! I has been a LONG time (nearly 5 months) since the last update and a man can only be so patient! It is part of the reason I play ksp alot more these days. There are so many mods out there! Each one like overall of a certain area.

I'm worried about the engine rework... Do you think it will affect our designs?
The second image shows a beautiful aspect for the engines
I don't think it will replace current engines
Maybe just the textures
I also don't think it's gonna come out within half a year

It has been half a year already since the last update and 3 years and 5 months since the last major update. If the difference between 1.4 and 1.5 is constant then 1.6 should've come out in January this year.

Except Stef went in a different direction post 1.5, releasing updates with the 1.5 prefix as planned in the roadmap. 1.5 was the foundation, he was improving upon it for the last 3 years.

He probably meant expanding plumes, if their heat hitboxes will also expand, we might be in trouble
