I think you underestimate what's needed to do that. I did it once ago, and this is the launcher I needed:

And that was with gravity assist. You need something like 37000 m/s of ΔV to do that.

Team name sugestions:

Team Horizon, Team Light, Team Electron, Team Quantum.

Challenges sugestions:

Make a elliptical orbit around the sun but the apoapsis cannot reach outside of Mercury orbit.
Make a Space Station around one of the Jupiter moons.
Land on 2 or 3 moons of Jupiter.
Land on Venus and go back to Earth (in less than 450 - 500 tons maybe).
Land on Moon, Captured Asteroid, Mars and it's moons and go back to Earth.
Make a interplanetary space station that is able to reach Jupiter Orbit and go back to earth.

These aren't really that hard
An actually tough budget for Venus would be like sub 150t
