Kiloton Club

And can we stop talking about this pls, I have read all the comments and I get that you all say I’m lazy but I’m and school is a thing so to say that playing and doing challenges for fun just don’t add up on school. So in all respects I will from here on out stop posting builds and comments till everyone can get back together and agree that not all are lazy and have do things quick.

Time after incident number #207549, which caused the closure of that space agency. I have obtained documentation that I consider important. A folder with the red words "RFA" in the title. Inside was a description of a device that I had read nothing about using.
The investors have decided to create a new foundation to take advantage of this secret information.
End of report.
For this new year, I've take the original payload design and increase the weight to 10k Tons.

Of course! There is a rocket...
But for now that's all

I once again want to remind everyone of this
Or the most interesting method.

Instead it's turned into a pissing 'who can spam the most boosters' 'who has the most RAM' lifting contest.

What do you mean?
Do you think we have fallen into nonsense in this thread?
Well, I'm trying to make a cargo rocket with the least amount of engines. I'm sorry if I look bad for thinking about that...
Anyway, this is the DmRfa6K1, for users who bought the Android version of the game and need to carry huge payloads.
And... Well, its enougth blablabla for me.

DmRfa6K1
  • Datasheet:
    • Weigth: 33101.68t
    • Height: 122.6m
    • Power: 55600t
    • Another Specs:
      • Gothic Style.
      • 2 RAF Devices.
      • No Stretch Engines.
      • BP Edition using for fuel tank fussions.
  • 10KTon reach LEO

Simply that the original purpose of the thread was very narrowly defined:
Lightest rocket that brings a certain payload mass to a destination.
Originally it was 1000 tonnes to low earth orbit, but some did to the moon or other destinations.

But then people just kept making their rockets bigger and bigger with no end in sight, so it was a size contest dependent on patience and how strong your computer was. Efficiency was forgotten.

Anyway, it is fine if you are still focusing on efficiency and lightness, even with bigger payloads than intended. :)
Speaking of the original purpose, 1000 tonnes may be too small today after all the updates, 2000 tonnes may be more appropriate.

Hello, here's my entry to Steroids Kiloton Club

Tried to make it cheat free, ended up making it quite similar to Altair's.

So I made another one. I needed infinite build space for this one.

Well here is probably the goofiest entry into the Kiloton Club

Overall I think this flight went well, I managed to make an efficient rocket (1250t payload to LEO with a 5107t takeoff mass and with ~60m/s remaining) and the flight was kinda inefficient (forgot to do the stages so I had to do everything manually).

A 5kt version should be coming soon

Well heres the 5 kiloton version

Ragnarok Block IV: It stands at 810 meters tall making it just shy of the burj khalfia in height, and this thing has rocket engines strapped onto it

This thing can send payloads of up to 5 kilotons to low earth orbit (probably even more), which corresponds to an entire build space filled with fuel tanks
WhatsApp Image 2024-04-09 at 11.25.41.jpeg

The rest of the flight goes basically the same as the Block I variant, just a bit smoother due to me actually implementing staging

It's suprisingly rigid for something that is shaped like a needle

Fun Fact: This rocket is larger than the captured asteroid
