Well, this took awhile. I got through almost an entire album of music while doing this.
Once refueled, we waited for Saturn to get into position. And when Saturn did, the transfer burn began.
When the rocket is just outside of Saturn's SOI, I'll lower the periapsis into Saturn's atmosphere to areo brake.
Once the periapsis was lowered, the rocket continued it's journey.
After that, another pass through the atmosphere was made to lower the apoapsis even more, saving precious fuel. After that, the periapsis was raised to match that of the fuel module.
Now it's time to dock.
And docked with under 5% of fuel remaining! Mission complete! I've definitely learnt some stuff from this, so that's a bonus. Time to take a break, this took awhile.
