Clipping for replicas are fine, as is editing, as long as it functions properly.

IT IS ALLOWED, as long as you don’t do anything too OP, or too broken, like stretching engines.

That is true. Nothing that changes your engine TWR. That means stretching engines need to be compensated with extra dead weight.
