Well my advice to you is to turn on the engine later and use more throttle. It's faster AND more efficient.
To reduce the risk of having to start again, quicksave at every stage.

Why did you fail at landing?

But why? What happened? Your rocket seems capable. I hope you have quicksaved...
I have the rocket saved, and the blueprint, so it's fine.

The rocket impacted on the Moon because I hadn't slowed down enough. I tried to impact the Moon with the nose cone, in an attempt to slow it down and prevent damage to the capsule, but it failed.
Why did you fail at landing?
See above response.

To go into a little more detail, I have an LES on the rocket, and I usually use it for landings.

Okay, first of all: remember to quicksave!

About the landing, maybe you should try to begin your landing burn a little earlier or use a more powerful engine.

Project Cerberus

Project Cerberus is a multi-step space project inspired by the Apollo program run by NASA. It will consist of making the Cerberus rocket, testing it in orbit, and making it to the moon with a small rover, and then manned missions.

Anyways, I need some help with this. I have a design ready, but it's basic and bland. I need some help reaching the Moon.
