i was wondering if its possible to connect the other side of the piston to anything. now it just seems to push, and i'd like it to pull as well.

you need to use the GRAY resource container. Apparently there are 4 special resource containers:

Gray - Construction
Yellow - Electronics
Green - Rocket
Orange - Raw Resource Material

dani0105 -- is it a bug or for future work that "Reverting to Build" does not refund the used materials? Also loading from a quicksave doesn't load Colony information

Can we add resource transferring capabilities outside of colonies? Like fuel? It's quite difficult keeping track which resource containers are filled or not
